The 2023 Golden Globe Awards was a celebration highlighting the power of storytelling and the talent behind it all. Hosted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, some of our favorite artists gathered on January 10th, 2023 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California for the award ceremony. At the event, the best in film and television were honored for their ability to entertain, inspire, and move us with their performances.
The event was a night to remember for everyone attending (and everyone at home watching). With poignant speeches and unforgettable red carpet moments, the night was a true spectacle. The night featured iconic celebrities pulling out all the stops to make a statement. From stunning gowns to sleek tuxedos, every celebrity brought their A-game and wowed the crowd with their fashion choices. The variety of classic elegance and edgy styles featured looks most of us can be inspired by.

One of our favorite looks was on Jenna Ortega, an American actress who recently gained mass popularity in the United States. Jenna Ortega looked stunning in this beautiful Gucci dress styled by Enrique Melendez. The color, the texture, the dress train, and everything about this look is giving total Gucci goddess. Her retro inspired makeup look was done beautifully and tied her whole look together.
Selena Gomez, the American singer, actress and producer, wore a black velvet Valentino Haute Couture gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline and statement puff sleeves. This piece is absolutely stunning. Purple was an excellent use of color to add some pop to the otherwise neutral look. Being a big fan of velvet, I loved everything about — Selena rocked it with poise and confidence.

Salma Hayek, Mexican actress, producer, and former model, wore a custom crystal-embroidered Gucci gown. The beaded and fringe details hugged her curves beautifully. On the red carpet, Salma was a total head-turner. Although the actress is well-known for her beauty, Salma looked exceptionally stunning. At the age of 56, it is inspiring the youth she shows with her styling choices.
Julia Garner, the American actress, wore a stunning pale pink Gucci gown with a crystal overlay, featuring a mermaid silhouette created by three tiers of fabric cascading down the length of the dress. The straps and bust of the gown were adorned with a delicate crystal overlay, adding a touch of maximalist fashion to the overall look. Julia was accompanied by her husband Mark foster, who wore a sleek black suit, perfectly complimenting her graceful gown.
