Most artists burst into their respective scene with fiery ambition and plans to take on the world. Some are like falling stars, quickly ascending to fame and then burning out just as fast. Musician Jah Harris is on an exciting journey to stardom that began years ago and is about to take flight.
Hailing from Jennings, the northern suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, Jah Harris was swaddled in rich histories of Motown. The Dirty South rap scene and samples of East and West Coast music weave together seamlessly in this locale. One of Jah’s inspirations, Nelly & The St. Lunatics, features a mixture of soulful music, gritty yet mesmerizing street tales, and an infectious culture that lays quick lyrics over soothing R&B melodies. Songwriting wasn't immediate for Jah, he started as an avid poet until being introduced to an underground freestyle channel after school by his social group. Prior to his senior year of high school Jah had not successfully created music, but the competitive nature of his peers fostered a desire to express himself over instrumentals. This created the artist formerly known as JB, his birth name initials.

Jah's music has not always taken a front seat in his career. He enlisted in the Navy as a CTI. Eventually finding himself back home, he latched onto the plan of one of his peers: move to Arizona, attend CRAS and become an all-in-one music recording professional. After a series of events that took him from Phoenix to West Hollywood and back, Jah realized that his true path was a unique opportunity that could not be discovered through conventional methods. Jah turned to his talent and intuition to open doors in various avenues of media entertainment in which he has been highly successful.
His upcoming project, [ REDACTED ], is a culmination of experiences meshed together, stripped of the sensitive and extraneous. Jah Harris has released two singles this year, Therapy and Golden Room. Both are distributed by his own LC and are available on all major platforms. These singles pose a "vibe check" to the listener. Therapy is altruistic and selfless. To those listening, it proclaims following a path of vulnerability, trust and honesty; through which the most difficult of obstacles can be overcome. On Golden Room, Jah Harris delivers the hyper-realistic tonnage that only comes from surviving adversity and opposition. He communicates strife with the passion and grace found in true creatives as they express their art. Jah Harris aims to supply his fans with vivid illustrations and confessions of all of our shared trials and tribulations while casting them in the gilded accouterments only given by those blessed with the godly gift of gab.
