Meet Yosh, a visual artist and model signed to Contagion Media.
Yosh’s goal in life is to create art that he is proud of and shared with everyone. During his early career, He had the opportunity to work with amazing people that he now calls friends and was able to grow and learn about himself through the collaborations and projects they built together. Yosh said, "My art is for my inner child." Yosh always has his own unique vision for how his projects are to be made. Somewhere along the line, he lost that version of himself due to the realities of the world, but he found his way back through creativity and an absurd amount of daydreams. Now he shoots for the stars and lets everyone see what he can do.

“My name is Yosh. I'm from Sacramento, California. I moved out here in Arizona in 2013. My nickname Yosh came from my uncle. As a kid, he called me Yosh and it just stuck. A my family calls me Yosh. And so in honor of him and like my family, I just adapted it to my art name. So it's got a little special meaning behind it. Some people would describe my art as chaotic, also cartoonish, very friendly, a little bit of everything.
My favorite part about digital art is probably the freedom you have to create honestly anything without like restrictions. With oil painting, you got to let it dry and like you have to work with the oil, whereas digital art you can definitely just pick a brush, pick a color, and you're good to go.
My goals are big. I want to reach as far as I can, reach as many companies or people, individuals that want to share in my art, as many as I can. I think art can change the world in a way of letting other people know who you are and being able to share thoughts, emotions, feelings. It's a good way to express, you know.
My art definitely has given me the ability to connect with other people by sharing, oh you're an artist, I'm an artist, what do you do? Oh I do this or what do you do? And just being able to like see other creatives and see other people like just sharing what they love.
My favorite part about like teamwork is the creative ideas that I won't normally have, they probably have, or I'm able to like bounce something off of them and get their opinion and so we can like build something better than what we could do alone.
The best piece of advice I could give would be just not giving up and feeling that your art is your art because you are making it. You don't need to compare it to anybody else, just keep creating because you want to, and that will take you far.
