Artist Statement

Karen Ramirez was born in Phoenix AZ, with Mexican nationality. She is very passionate about the world of modeling and catwalks. Her inspiration for as long as she can remember has always been Selena Quintanilla. She was always inspired by Selena’s iconic catwalks and vision for fashion. Karen’s mother also inspired her a lot because in her mother’s youth she was a model in Sonora, Mexico.

She has been a professional makeup artist for 3 years, doing lots of work in fantasy and glam. She started modeling a couple years ago at Ozea Modeling Agency to learn more about modeling and gain experience in catwalks, music videos, and advertising. She enjoys every moment of modeling for catwalk and photography, she feels that she can be herself and develop as an artist with every photo shoot. Her goals are to learn and create and be a part of great things with modeling.
